.. waking up, but having the freedom on a weekend day to take my time getting out of bed is just the best ever.
.. eating breakfast with special friends is always a treat, and so is getting the same thing every morning: granola, yogurt, and grapes or a cut up apple and a plain bagel with creamcheese #yum
.. homemade cookies from a real home are such a treat.
.. when I talked to my mom on the phone she was just getting so excited for me to come home for break (since I don't do that very often anymore), and I just really enjoyed listening to her precious little self rattling off all of the plans she has already began to make.. classic her.. love her.
.. remember that one tongue twister 'unique new york'? yeah, so do me and mary laura
.. I was able to spend a lot of quality time with my dear kindred this weekend; here's to those monthly adventures to come #datenight
.. being able to watch as holland cut off 11 inches of that beautiful hair of hers to donate to some little one, well that was kinda neat
.. deciding to put off homework to watch two of the oscar nominee films wasn't a terrible decision, we laughed a lot and maybe didn't watch the movies completely

.. I'm really excited that I get to buy one of those little binders. I've secretly been searching for a reason to buy one. well it's going to be my 'learning kreyol' binder. excited for that one.
