the story of redemption

A dear friend of mine asked me what redemption meant to me.. it sure did make me think. I began to jot down what redemption means to me. I only scraped the surface. 

Redemption is.. being redeemed.
it's.. being taken out of one thing and into another,
out of something I deserve and into something I don't.
Redemption is.. an exchange, 
it's.. an exchange of beauty from dust,
it's a process that doesn't end,
and not done without a payment of some sort,
there's always a cost. 
if there's a cost, there needs to be someone to pay that price.
if there's going to be redemption, there needs to be someone 
willing
to pay the cost.
the story of Redemption needs a Redeemer.
