so this may be bit of a stretch, but work with me. as me and my dear roomie were watching Annie (and wow is that just one of my favorites that I've grown up watching over and over), anyways I've come to adore the relationship between daddy warbucks and annie. he comes to love her so deeply at the end in such a special way. while they were singing their last song to end the movie.. I imagined singing it with Jesus. i think one of the most beautiful aspects to this song in that light is when annie says how poor she is, but daddy warbucks points out how rich he is. and ohh are we ever poor. we have absolutely nothing to give Jesus, yet he is The King of a kingdom so grand.. and He is sits on the throne, and He wants to us to share in that kingdom with Him. wow. and 'nothing on earth could ever divide us.' wow.. thanks Jesus for speaking to me tonight even through little orphan annie. i love You too.
