Today I had plans to spend time with my dear friend Lexi. We knew our friend Isaac was working at Cafe 420 downtown.. so we made the decision on the spot to walk down and pay him a visit. We were immediately greeted with a home-like atmosphere and the aroma of coffee. To warm up our frozen bodies, our friend bought us each a mug of caramel coffee. We spent time conversing and meeting new friends down at 420.. the place to be. Really though, you should check it out.

And then after walking in the blistery weather back to my home.. I found a letter in my mailbox from a kind, unknown soul. It was a sweet card that said 'check the refrigerator :)' I went to the refrigerator to find this special treat. I am oh so thankful for this thoughtful gesture that warmed my heart on this very cold day.
